Asking Until My Joy is Fulfilled.

How can I have joy when….?

I know many of us have asked ourselves this question. When we find ourselves in seasons of life, when nothing makes sense. The longing for more and the emptiness of yourself comes from the lack of contentment in what you have, where came from, and where you are going.  This does not mean complacency, in actually this means an acute awareness of how God allowed what you been through to be used for His Glory. I have come to realized God uses our trials and tribulations as a way for us to look at ourselves. A front view reflection of how much we need Him. I often think to myself why me or why do I have to go through this… lately I have changed to why not you… God has sovereignty over my life so this is a testimony of my faith to the Goodness of His Glory.

One of the things the Lord was telling me about asking is that the joy that comes from constantly placing myself in God's presence. I should ask until my joy is satisfied in faith that He will fulfill my needs. God is aware of our needs. I am encouraged by this and I can trust that everything will work out according to the Lord’s timing and will. When we spend time in His presence, we might start to notice joy in any situation. We may always be cheerful, not because the situation is joyous, but because we serve a sovereign God who has control over it.

Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Hebrews 12:1

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Corinthians 3:18

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
